What Does the following CT Scan Result Mean?

I went to the ER because of abdomen pain. they did blood work and a CT scan where they found 3 enlarged glands near the pacreious. I have a appointment with my general doctor this Tuesday to get a referral. Does this mean it is cancer or could it be something else? Scared out of my mind.

Welcome to Health care magic.

1.The possible cause could be pancreatic lesion with multiple enlarged cysts ( pseudocysts pancreas ) which is a benign cause. If solid mass then the possibilities ti be a malignancy / cancer are there.
2.Other possible - as you mentioned glands other glans could be adrenal - where multiple nodules could be benign cause.
3.Lastly it could be enlarged lymph nodes after inflammation / infection.
4.Do not get scared there is nothing in your description says presence of malignant / cancerous lesion.
5.Next time please write impression of the report with exact wording - that will help us to serve you better.
6. Final diagnosis is based on the FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology / BIOPSY . Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
